kk, will drop down to 425W enermax mod82+. That saves me £40 (£540 total) That report pulled out some interesting observations - focusing more on bang-for-buck rather then im-the-most-powerful-one. Im hoping that the release of the ATI cards will take down some more quids of the 9600GT. I would de...

£60 for the 425 Enermax about £80 for the 525 Enermax Will try some light overclocking and I won't go sli or crossfire. Im only going for the P45 boards because it is more or less in the same price range as the P35 (and it is more updated). My resolution is 1220x880 something like that anyway (cur...

Yeah it might be a good idea to swap the Q6600 to the E8400. Its exactly the same price range (difference of about £8 ) Will definately wait for the new AMD graphic cards - been hearing that it will turn the tide on the market. I think the 625 is for dual gpus specifically (I don't want to use 2 gr...

Nice board, though I dunno about the ddr3 if it is dropping in prices to moderate levels in 3 years or less (still a good option though). Let's add it anyway: 1) 2GB Patriot PC6400 CL4 - £70 2) Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R - £85 3) Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 - £115 4) 520W Corsair PSU - £70 5) Antec P182 G...

The 8800GTS does seem like a deal breaker - everyone tells me its the best fps per buck out there. If I did bring it into the build, it would be: 1) 2GB Patriot PC6400 CL4 - £70 2) Asus P5N-E Sli 650i ATX - £70 3) Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 - £115 4) 520W Corsair PSU - £70 5) Antec P182 Gun black f...

Well, I was interested in the P5N-E because it can do the 1333MHz Bus speed and for it's insane overclocking abilities to 680i standards (despite no southbridge heatsink). I apparently cannot find any motherboard that can match this at this price (the sli extra is like a happy meal toy probably :P )...

New Quiet Gaming PC. Any advice?

First of all, I wanna say hi to all since this is my first post and this is a great site (been around for 6 months in undercover  ). Second, hi to those who are taking the time to read this to help another noob builder. Well, enough of the intro - let's get down to business: Ever since the pr...
