Go for Virtualbox. It's free, it has a good developer's community - and the backing of Sun Microsystems.
I run it under Vista to run Fedora. Works like a charm.
It runs very good on Linux also.

The question is what is price difference there between Toxic and Reference? Here in Croatia around $215 for reference and...

Hello!

Well, seems to me a bit tight in the upper side (near to PSU). Try to measure it and compare it with Ninja specs (or whatever you're about to use).

Thanks. I'm in urgent need of a powerful PC, but don't really know what to do. First I wanted to get a QX9770 (or QX9650), but now after i7 got released, they seem a better choice. You have any suggestion regarding it? Is it too soon for i7? define powerful? because QX9770 is just ridiculously expe...

Toxic model has fixed fan speed. So the fan noise elite bastards seen to have shown is another than Zalman. But with foxed speed of Toxic, its hardly a quiet card. Luckily it takes a Accelero S1 as its reference board... Toxic is very good card with excellent bundle. Problem is that fan is not adju...

Sapphire Toxic 4850

OK, I've been eying this card for a while now: http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/8022/sapphirehd4850toxic3qj3.jpg I like it because it has the famous Zalman up there so it's supposed to be colder & quieter than the reference cooler, however I'm puzzled by this review: http://www.elitebastards.com/c...

I recently did a brand new build for my girlfriend. The choice was to go for 780G and I was faced with the same dillema: which one of those two boards?
I decided to go for DS3H. Why? Well, it's a full ATX. More room and more upgrade options plus a ton of features.

nope. I didn't. I use the latest CoreTemp 0.99.3.
Is there any particular reason why should I use RealTemp?

edit: I just downloaded RealTemp. Shows te same temp as CoreTemp. 60 degrees after 53minutes of Orthos.

Epilogue: I removed the front intake and replaced the Sharkoon 120mm on Ninja with Scythe 120mm. Temps after 10min of Orthos are 59-60. I'm gonna leave it running for 1-2hrs now just to be sure. as you say...this is OK and I just need to let this thing go for now. :) If an oportunity presents itself...

Serious problem with my temperatures

Hello! I've got a question regarding Asus P5B Deluxe (with BIOS 1236) and temp readings. I just need to be sure. I've got Intel C2D E6600@default 2.4GHz with Scythe Ninja SCNJ-1000+Sharkoon 120mm attached to it (running ~1000-1500rpm ). Here are the pics of the case, it's interior and exterior: http...
