I didnt use roller. I just used hands. But a hot air blower would be a great help. But not necessary. It is not necessary to put those heavy mats on every small part of case. But if you use just heavy stiff mats it will only effect vibration. You should use sound absorbent foam also. But there is no...

I decided to not swap the fan. Instead I replaced my Adda on case cooling with S-Flex. Adda is nearly end of it's operating hours... It's odd how the S-flex started to getting more quiet after a few days on operation. For now it's almost quieter on 6 volt than 900 rmp (end of it's days) Adda on 12vo...

I have understand that it's not necessary to by that fast memory. A good 800mhz would work also on higher speeds. Maybe G.Skill or OCZ for example. Cooling is best with Thermalright Ultra Extreme. Ninja will do fine also if you want to go cheaper. With TRUE you have to by a fan also. I have understa...

That particular shop has been really reliable and they are profiled as an enthusiast shop for performance and quiet. They also have good reputation on our country. But now it seems that they are not really up for that. I wish that I would have another s-flex to compare. I have one old Adda 1200rpm s...

Put some paste on glass and insert checked surface on the paste and see how it's spreads. Paste can be about anything. For lapping you'll need wet sand paper on grids 600, 800, 1000. Put paper on top of peace of mirror. Ad water and put your HS on the paper. Start to sand carefully on shape of 8. On...

Distance between fan and rad is based on that the radial fan needs about half to full diameter distance to "solid" wall to operate at full potential. And it also reduce turbulent noise. Variations may be something like double the diameter as the channel. Like chambers. And remember to put lots of da...

How big your tube/box for fans and radiator can be? Because the best way is to put the rad in canal which has sharp variations in sizes and foam on walls. Maybe even turns. And fans are not in contact with rad. Atleast 6cm away on it. And in middle of canal. Rad can be on any place, but best way is ...

Basically your not missing any. But chancing canal diameter suddenly will cause an impedance difference which will cause sound to be dampened. And you can use reflectors also. These are all discussed on books that deal with air canals on building etc. Maybe they are explained better because I cant e...

I said that I used the duct tape. I never said that I recommend it. Zip ties are better or something else. You can even use silicon to fasten the fan. Use small drops and place fan on them. Don't push too hard and you'll have a "soft" mounted fan. 120mm fan will probably fit well on 140mm hole so th...
