Thanks for the advice, I'm going to widen up the holes on the side to increase air flow. I installed the heatsink/fan but it isn't completely functional. It's fairly hot to the touch, I've read articles saying it gets up to 88C, and a lot of the time it will warp the case itself just from the heat. I'm guessing putting it in a ventilated location will help cool it down, but I'm not entirely sure by how much. The issue is the dimensions of it, it's so...

And I just realized I totally left out my question! For this tiny router, would heatpipes be a better solution then a fan? I was told that putting a fan in would be fine, since the air would eventually make it's way out the case through the airholes on the side, but this sounds a little fishy to me....
