Now to quietize my old Athlon 1100...
With my new system built, it's time to focus on my Athlon 1100....this is my old desktop, but I'll be turning it into a server. I figure I'll get another 3700-bqe, because having systems that are exactly the same height will allow me to put my printer on top. I have an old Zalman cnps3100 Gold heats...

Replacing the fan in generic power supply...
Okay, my new computer is working great so far...it makes me want to quiet everything else I have. So I took apart my FSP235-60GT that I have in an older computer. It seems to have one 80 mm fan that is soldered in place. Can I just cut the wires to that fan, and tape the end of the wires somewhere? ...

I've surmised from reading this website that the Samsung Spinpoint drives are the quietest 7200 rpm drives available. I'm building an extremely quiet workstation, and want about a half a terabyte of storage. My question ....is it quieter to have - three Samsung SP1614C drives (160gb each - sata)? or...
