I haven't read the any of the above other than the original post so apologies if I'm repeating anything already posted, but 99% of the time you don't need a floppy. However, to install certain features on certain motherboards, you HAVE to install from floppy. For example, on the Gigabyte Nforce2 Pro...

Is it possible to mount a 92mm fan inside the Sonata?
Is it possible to mount a 92mm fan inside the Sonata? ie on the side of the internal 3.5inch bays
I didn't think it was possible because the holes don't seem to correspond but I thought I read somewhere that someone managed to successful mount a 92mm within the Sonata or am I mistaken?

This has been answered before - try doing a Search for the "Sonata" and you'll probably find loads of info on PSU fan swaps. In short, the answer is probably yes, it's worth doing, but be careful the PSU is drained so that you don't get zapped. See the 'stickys' for details. My personal view is that...

They're designed to install in a 5.25inch bay. I suppose it MIGHT be possible to install it into the 3.5inch bays of the Sonata - there's space on the side (between the HDD and drive rail) and also possibly height space as well. However, I think its quite likely that you would lose the use of the dr...

AcoustiPack Pre-cut Kit For Antec Sonata
Has anyone actually tried it?
Does it make much difference to the Sonata stock noise levels.
I am thinking of buying it for my Sonata but at £45 inc VAT and delivery, it seems rather expensive.

What boards are you talking about? I have just got an NF7s and can't hear the Northbridge fan. Then again my PSU is so loud that I'm not likely too. I think this fan can be removed and replaced with a heatsink as (I think) the ASUS nForce2 two boards run with just a heatsink. These boards can be un...
