Concerning the fans, that's a matter of perception (or hearing, as it were).

Personally, I didn't need to mod my Enermax, but then I've not yet attached an X800XT to it, so there might be some more noise coming from it yet.

But it's a good little box and behaves plenty well and is VERY quiet .

Just the minor problem that we seem to be seeing a trend for HIS ICEQ II's developing an annoying clicking sound ...

... though I'm still waiting for my X800XT ...

Also, you're a bit fluffed (as far as airflow is concerned) if your CPU socket's orientation is "wrong" for you ... blowing the air from bottom to top (or vice versa) rarther from intake to outtake is ... rather silly .

What I don't get is the advertising of a fanless solution ... that rerquires a fan (albeit ehaust). D'uh ...
