Re: Keyboard Start Up

You see, I'm a very impatient person and find all those steps too slow :P . Luckily I now have a Logitech G15 keyboard and I know if the lights on that are on then my computer's on. I've actually been looking for a way to turn on my computer with my keyboard but have never found any bios setting th...

My mum has an Acer L5100 92.G7T9Z.UYT that has an Athlon 64 X2 5200+, 3gb ram and a TV tuner. I'd say it gives around 22-30dB but this depends on how resonant the surface is mounted on is and the orientation it is mounted. You can pick one up for around EUR 600-800 (400-450GBP). Loudness/sound power...

Sppedfan will show SMART Data for all hdds so long as they are connected to the controllers it is monitoring. You have to click the "Run as administrator" box in the application properties for sppedfan.

I haven't yet figured how to run autostart speedfan and have it run as administrator on startup.

try looking here for how to get hold of the error logs that dr watson produces.

looks like the problem is a firefox one - if you can get firefox to start look up info about running Mozilla Talkback - you might then find out what the problem is and be able to report the possible bug to Mozilla.

Somebody should buy the MSI AM-690E motherboard and take pictures of the motherboard and accessories.

i think that beige connector between the Serial/VGA, the CMOS battery and the Northbridge is a weird cut down power connector designed for small factor servers.

It seems to me that a full set of Nortua fans would do you just fine. You may need to consider replacing the heatsinks with the largest temperature differences, namely the Memory heatsink (14.5 deg diff) and the Motherboard heatsink (12deg diff). I also think that Dell may have over applied the ther...

Makes me wonder if it could cool a small car engine, which can take higher temps than a CPU. It should be lighter than the conventional water cooling, thus saving a bit of weight and fuel. And you wouldn't have to worry about the water level, the heatpipes should work for (how many?) years. That wo...

you tried checking the voltage? You could be overvolting it or have overvolte it and burnt out the speed controller.

If Sythe do a 2000rpm version of the fan, you might have just got the wrong one.
