Nicest build I've ever seen. Seriously! It looks very clean, quiet and small.
Excellent work!

Sparkle 9500GT passive... experiences?!
I'm looking to downgrade my HD4850 since it gets a little too hot for me, as I barely game anymore. The passively cooled Sparkle 9500GT seems like a great choice to me. The 9500's have two performance profiles, one for 2d and one for 3d, meaning their idle power consumption is very low. Which is goo...

Re: Is it me or does the Quiet Drive suck?
They don't suck, but they can't be hardmounted. If you hardmount them in anything but a chassis made of granite they do indeed amplify vibration to an annoying degree. I use a 2.5" Quiet Drive on my Velociraptor, suspended, and I'm extremely pleased with it. Then again, because the drive was already...

Never installed the VNF100, but I can safely say it's completely unsuitable for the HD4850. It just runs too hot, not just the GPU but the memory and VRMs mainly. I'm still using the stock cooling (fan never spins up) until I decide whether to build a separate gaming rig or try to get a low noise sy...

Silverstone ST30NF, how many versions are there...
... and how do I recognize them?
I've found some used ST30NF's (EFN300?) PSU's for sale and want to know how I can tell they're the most recent version.
Any help?

This card is an affront to nature as far as I'm concerned. :D I bought one, but am regretting it... all of the usual reasons -- idle power consumption, heat, noise, etc. I didn't do enough research before I pulled the trigger. I recall reading that the 48xx series would have "EXTREMELY LOW" idle pow...

These are MLC (multi level cell) drives, and not SLC (single level cells, like the Mtron/Memoright/etc) which may hurt their longevity. I'd be very interested in finding out what OCZ (or more accurately, Samsung) has done to make these drives more reliable than previous SSDs based on MLC, as they've...

Thanks for the replies. I would have gotten either an Accelero or HR-03 GT but none were in stock and I need the new card asap, as my old card (7950GT) has a broken capacitor and will no doubt die on me soon. The VNF100 seems like a decent cooler. ame: what brand is your HD4850? I read many reports ...

HD4850 and Zalman VNF100... will it fit?
I just ordered an HD4850 and a Zalman VNF100 but would like some confirmation on whether it'll fit. Zalman's website is of no help, and google provided me with a reference to the VNF100 fitting on a HD3850 (I'm under the impression all coolers that are compatible with 38xx cards also work for 48xx)....

That's unfortunate! The 200mm fan is loud and I'm using it as a "band aid" until I figure out my cooling solution. What kind of passive cooling does your 7950GT have? Is it getting airflow from one of your Slipstreams? For reference, my 8600GT maxed out at 80C with its stock cooler, 72C with the Za...

Interesting. I moved my system from a Silverstone TJ08 (same layout as your 340) to a MP180 two weeks ago. The first thing I did was remove the 200mm fan and seal the top vent. Unfortunately this caused my GPU (passive XFX 7950GT) to get far too hot (idle at 70c), even with 3 800RPM Slipstreams. :( ...

I only have a single SSD (Mtron), but am planning on getting a second in the near future. I've been looking at ways to mount them properly, and this is the best solution I've found thus far: http://www.raidsonic.de/en/pages/produc ... ectID=5054

How do I slow down my 200mm Antec Big Boy?
I got my mini P180 a few days ago and immediately removed the 200mm fan before I even installed my system because I assumed the noise it produced would be too much compared to 400RPM SlipStreams. Unfortunately my GPU started getting a little too hot and I decided to try the Big Boy. Its noise charac...

I'm seething with rage right now. I just received my Mini P180 and tried to mount my Scythe Quiet Drives in the upper chamber, only to realize the screwholes Scythe used are not the standard for 3.5" drives. This means the extra long screws Antec provides with the mini P180 (which work perfectly for...

There are no power supplies using all Rubycon premium (or similar) that I am aware of. It would be silly if they put in a bunch of solid sta...
