Re: Asrock motherboard quality?
Just as a final comment, not trying to steer you to AsRock fully, as i do think Asus might offer something you do want, but i was reading Techpowerup, and stumble on a new review, ASRock X370 Taichi (AMD AM4) , its not that easy to get a perfect 10 on TPU, not saying asrock is perfect, but really t...

Re: GTX 1080 Ti Review Compilation Thread
Out of lack of custom cooler reviews or very few.... i have been checking rumors and news, and something interesting, not sure if it will matter much or not, but decide worth a share with SPCR since we many like MSI Twin frozr designs. In past, the changes on the Twin Frozr changes have been more l...

Re: GTX 1080 Ti Review Compilation Thread
What are the chances MK-26 will fit into the ASUS GTX 1080 Ti Strix, and will work correctly?
After all, that video card has two fan headers, which are ready for conventional fans controllable by voltage (less chances of PWM noise).

Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme Edition @Techpowerup added. It’s funny. While the TPU was not thrilled by the noise of the card, TR measured the lowest dBA values, and found the sound characteristics very good. http://techreport.com/review/31428/aorus-geforce-gtx-1080-xtreme-edition-8g-graphics-card-reviewed

Stopping Fans
I know it's motherboard dependant. BTW, using the best fan control motherboard, which are "SPCR standard" fans (reviewd by SPCR or didn't) capable to be stopped.
Also, DC fans may be stopped? Which are?

Re: Updated 120/140mm intake fan suggestions?
Luca, i'd like to make two questions:
1 - Does Slip Stream 120 PWM produce any relevant clicky noise?
2 - Does it suffer from any bad noise if it is mounted with its bearing in vertical (helice in horizontal) and upfire (for exemple, on MK-26 inside a standard case)?

Re: Rethinking optimal RAM Speed for Skylake builds...
In the past there were a ton of benefits from faster ram since OCing was dependant on it. Now you could get some, but overall to me its not worth it. I have done 4 builds on skylake, and found that even with QVList the boards are more picky with higher clock memory, in two builds i coudlnt even run...

Thank you, Abula. I was waiting for that. What do you think of two Noctua NF-P14s in standard case with that graphics card and that cooler? I mind those because they have better PWM ticky noise (IC used by Noctua). I do know whether standard orientation makes those Noctua sound bad, so what can you ...

These have o-ring pad in each corner, smoother blades design etc. Firstly, they had a adptaer for PWM (instead of in the motor, there was a cable wi...

Luca, a thing else that make me puzzle is that PH-F140HP from new batches are PWM ones now apparently. According to commentaries from Amazon, brand website etc and looking pics I wonder.
