you'd think audiophiles would be technical people for the most part... Does that answer your question? i'm not quite sure i asked a question... but your post was informative none the less, :P. unfortunately, i hated everything to do with waves in physics, so most of the stuff about "harmonic distor...

you'd think audiophiles would be technical people for the most part... after all, they have to read all kinds of things about SNR, resistance, frequency ranges, THD etc... and you'd imagine that people with that kind of knowledge would have enough common sense, or at least enough grasp of basic scie...

just a note about m-audio's envy24 based cards (revo 5.1, 7.1)... i recently found out that they don't support S3 sleep state... so if you put your computer to sleep, you get no sound when you wake up... i believe the same is true of the chaintech AV-710... it probably has something to do with the e...

i've decided that it's not really worth leaving my HTPC on 24/7 just to fold... so today i set it to go to sleep after 10 mins of inactivity... now the problem is that when i return from sleep, the sound is no longer working. anyone else ever encounter this problem? i've searched the forum but found...

Think of every time you stop or slow down and money thrown away. Anticipate lights and drive accordingly. Frankly people waste a lot of gas on the highway tailgating, because they are on the brakes so much. I routinely drive over 80 miles without stepping on the brakes even once. The added bonus is...
