Tidy wiring! Looks like the combination of motherboard and case doesn't make it very hard though. Something that catches my eye is that the motherboard has an alternatively positioned CPU-socket and with that CPU-cooler, which means the awesome Ninja isn't as close to the fans as in a setup with a s...

Personally, I hate it when people see a brand new, kick ass case like this, and the first thing you hear is "WILL THE GTX FIT?!". The GTX is a rediculously huge card, if it fits, then you're wasting space ;) Anyways, back to the Sonata, looks nice, something I might've bought had it been released a ...

Hmm.. Haven't I seen you somewhere before, like, Tweakers.net or something? Didn't see that 600W PSU in the setup you posted on Tweakers. I say 600W is rather a lot of overkill. Those new Radeon cards are supposed to be really energy efficient. After a little trip to the PSU calculator and suc...

A VGA card loses it's heat to the rest of the case (most cards, anyway, some have an exhaust at the back), so if the cooling of the a video card is bad, that just means the heat will stick with the card, so less of it will go into the case. Not sure about this though - the heat will still go from t...

Bah, although the heatsink design looks promising, the fact that they have only two heatpipes, and an aluminium block, scares me. I don't think it'll be much for high-end cards. Just as well it looks like it won't work for a PC with a large CPU tower heatsink on most motherboards. In effect, this th...

7200.10 have a big difference between batches in the noise level. most of the new ones are pretty loud. i got several, it takes some serious work to make them reasonable. raptors are loud too but at least you know they are what they are... an enclosure on some foam inside a closed case - it should ...

Yeah, I would really get rid of that stock AMD cooler. Although I'd probably try and modify the 120mm exhaust a bit as well, so that it can just but put up with soft rubber fan mounts without touching the case, as well as make the hole bigger so you'd actually get some effect from having a 120mm ins...

I would ditch the raptor idea and go with a double seagate 7200.10 drives in striped raid, even if they are noisy, they aren't near as noisy as the raptors. I have a 7200.10, and really, if you suspend it, they're not half bad. I'd say if you get two Seagates, put them in quiet drives or some other ...

I have an ATI Radeon X1600XT, and it has a terrible fan (40mm :() which spins rather fast on standard settings. But, with ATITool, I underclocked the whole thing by about 15% (still does what I need it to) and adjusted the fan speeds so that the fan is off if the temperature of the GPU is below 60C,...

both rated at 20dBA (lets assume that is accurate). Would the total noise level be 20dBA or 40dBA? neither, it would be 23dBA. check out this stickied thread . Not quite, two times 20dB would turn into 23dB, but dBA isn't dB. Besides that, this rule only counts when the two sources of sound do not ...

Well, I can't really say anything about the Lexa, apart from what I read here and there, and although I haven't really seen a trustworthy review about it, I'm pretty sure the P150 will take it down any day of the week. For music, you don't need a lot of speed. And yes, most games play almost completely from HDD these days. But, still I'd say that depends on the game in question. For the GPU cooling, you don't necesarily have to get a big aftermarket cooler. You'll be surprised at how much you can lower the noise by adjusting the fan control with a program like AtiTools. Factory settings of these fans are way over the top in my experience. I don't know what kind of fan is in...
