cool, I went to the local auto shop and got some sound foam and it seems to make a difference and it was light as, as well, not bitumen based, I stuck that into the other computer and it didn't do much :roll: all well, please tell us how it goes.

My favorite cheap video card cooling hack was to get a old pentium heatsink, this were the fanless pentium days, I stuck this heatsink onto my Geforce DDR with Artic Alumina. I took off the stock fan off my northbridge as well, a loud as coolermaster sleeve bearing fan, I have a hot northbridge (KT133A) so the computer kept on dieing from a Northbridge that kept on reaching 40c+ temps.
