(It was too thick) So i used duct tape on it. Apparently it wreaked the comp. This was allegedly said by an tech. It cost much $$$. (The...

Zhentar, why don't you use a tupperware container with two holes in the lid? I hear they work very well. Thats what I'm using now, except without the holes, I intend to return the container soon. My experience however says this route is completely unnacceptable to a silent PCer, the noise increase ...

Now You know why every grocery store sells stuff at x.99$... Some people will just see the first digit. :) Jan That's why...

The only next step is religion, and then to cloning, then to bio-enhancement and the insertion of computers into the human body and the effect that the heat output has on that. Zhentar, why don't you use a tupperware container with two holes in the lid? I hear they work very well. Rusty, most things...

What, the chip or the lightbulb? BTW I invented a way to keep either's temps near ambient. I call it the Electron Path Disruptor (EPD for short). The EPD uses a manual lever that ceases all electron displacement. Use of this device has one serious side effect. It happens to shut down the device in u...

Some of the stores that sell the HSF combo also sell the blower seperately. In theory you could mount it on the back of the PSU so that the fan sticks out the back. Here's one place that sells the blower: http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/frozencpu/fan-75.html You may have to install the PSU and then...

From the pics on the Zalman site it looks like one front and one back (or left/right depending on your perspective). Now I see it. Thanks. :) (I didn't see the back.) Boomerang- I'm starting to feel the same way. I can't stand the least sound from my computer, more so when I'm trying to sleep. But ...

Sound frequency and dampening
Is lower pitched sound more difficult to dampen than higher pitched sound?
If so, than a 50DBa 60MM fan would be easier to dampen than a 50DBa 120MM fan, with an 80MM one in the middle, right?
