Perhaps because the FSP Zen 300W has problems starting with some low-powered systems, like mine. I did buy one to replace my audible S12 430W only to find that it wouldn't start. I did manage to start it by connecting two high-power fans. It would continue to run even after the fans were disconnect...

Intel 975XBX2 "bad axe 2" is the most stable board out there. The Vcores are rock solid. It's not cheap though. I love my board. With low MCM/NB voltage I'm running it @ 333FSB with EIST enabled as it is to ctrl the Vcore and I'm getting: idle= 2GHZ @ 1,1V load: 3GHZ 1,32V. DDR1000 on the 2*1GB memo...

Absolutely no coil noise either..... :D Good stuff Bluefront. I guess you can always trust FSP with quality, the ones I've had have all been good. All my antecs and my new seasonics on the other hand all have some amount of coil noise. My Corsair is freaking loud and will be sent back as rma. I gue...

Looks like it's got high efficiency: http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=6276&page=8 Maybe not mindblowing though as this i 220V (UK). I'm tempted to get one and hope Spcr can review it soon. I hope it has the same good efficiency at lower outputs as the Zen 300W. If so I will probably get one.

I have both a Corsair HX 520 and a Seasonic M12 700W. BOTH have coil noise. They are both the loudest part by far in each system. I can't buy either Antec (two phantoms have died on me) or Seasonic after this. Every brand is turning shit while getting more expensive. Maybe reviewers should get their...

And guess what......we finally found those elusive WMDs. The weapon of mass destruction was the administration of justice by Saddam. So in the end, our reason for invading Iraq, was correct after all. The weapon, now hanged, was Saddam himself. If you dare, I would like to see you charging for glor...

Justice is not about revenge. Killing Saddam is dinosaur behavior. Capital punishment have no place in a democratic state at all. Furthermore does article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other UN articles affirm the right of everyone (incl. even killers like Saddam and Bush) to li...

However the new games coming will depend on dual core (or more cores) so it's better to get a C2D now and wait for the 8900 (or other 65nm gfx) Hey there are NO dx10 games out anyway!!!! Get the Hr-01 combo at this shop. Cheaper than Swe shops and you can't get the duct in "gamla Svedala" ;) All in a neat pack with the S-clip as well so that you can turn the cooler if your socket is in the wrong direction. http://pc-cooling.de/de/Kuehler/AMD+Athlon+64/Thermalright/100700352/Thermalr...

It's the same coolers as Am2, right? I would go for thermalright Hr-01 + fanduct or the Ultra 120.

I would like to know where the K8M890 chipset fits in. There aren't many reviews of AMD boards with that chipset. Maybe the Via-S3 chipset is cooler or maybe not. Would be nice to know. IMO there's probably not much in it; they're both very cool chipsets. I have a s754 K8v-vm which uses the K8M890,...
