nodody likes nvidia's dishonesty, but in the end the deciding factor is how much graphics i can get out of a 220 Watts brick. I think it'd make sense to wait a month or so, then we'll see.

one of the major obstacles in building something like this yourself seems to be the heatpipes from the cpu and chipset to the case. does anything like this exist as an off the shelf produce, i.e. two heatsinks with long heat pipes in between that you can bend into place?

how about using the s1 on the lower side card and that other heatsink that sits on top of the card (dont remember the name) on the top card. then they could be arbitrarily close to each other, becuase there's no heatsink in between them.

did anybody see these mini itx boards anywhere? or at least similarly small powerful blu-ray capable mobos? How much do the stock fans ramp up under load? If they stay almost silent and keep the card at 80-90C (like 3850?), then it's fine by me. Well, not me personally but most people. No, that is the voltage of the interface, not the GPU.
