Wow that pricy. Too pricy.

I dont need that much space either. 32GB might be enough but 64GB is preffered.

Could you please link to some UK dealers that has SSD's?

Where can I get SSD HDD's in the EU ?

Hi there. Im thinking about buying a SSD HDD for my EPIA system that is currently using a 2.5" Seagate (clicky-clicky) Momentus 5400.3 160GB SATA drive. I really want this system to be completely inaudible, hence the SSD. So, where can I buy SSD's in the EU? And what should I buy? Thanks in advance....

I bought mine from artbeads.com aswell. This stuff is amazing. I bought 10 rolls of 1.5mm because I thought that shipping to Denmark was too pricy for me to only order 1-2 rolls. I have to say that litterally everybody is seriously impressed by this silly elastic string. I've done quite a few build ...

Thanks Choco.

I ended up realizing that I probably never would use the enclosure+disk for anything but backups so I decided that noise/dampening wasnt an issue.

I went with a chead Raidsonic Icy-Box.

I mean, how large a CPU cooler can you install on this mobo in a NSK2480 or NSK3480?
I had a XP-120 on mine in a NSK3400 and it nearly touched the PSU compartment (~1mm) but it worked fine.

I thought about the Scythe Quiet Drive but as you said its not an external enclosure.
Maybe ill go with it anyway if "real" external enclosures cant dampen the vibrations enough from the HDD.

Your English is just fine.

Thanks for the answer.

Best quiet external enclosure for my HD501LJ ?

Hi there.

Im looking for an external enclosure for my Samsung HD501LJ HDD.

USB interface is good enough for me so no "fancy" FW or eSATA plugs are required.

I'd like it to dampen to "noise" from the HDD as much as possible.

What are my options?

Thanks in advace :)

You have to remove all the paste from the heatsink/chip. Clean them both with isopropyl alcohol and put some new good paste on them. Then you reseat the heatsink.

Re: X1950Pro on Pico psu, will it work?

Any thoughts about getting something lower power? The X1950 is really killer on power usage. Maybe something like a 2600HD pro would be more likely to work, I believe that has under 40W usage at load. Obviously not as much performance though...but a picopsu isn't quite optimal for high perf gpus :)...
