Unfortunately, that's true. The best place to find Papst and Nexus fans over here (at least speaking for Germany and Netherlands) are at online shops. Then there is always the time wait and shipping charges...

At geizhals or idealo there are still no listings of the P150. Seems strange when there are reports of it in Finland, UK and England. Hello Antec Rep, when is coming to Germany?

BTW 150 EUR is pretty steep when I'm planning to continue using my S12 430.

Hello,

I have been searching for the Antec P150 in Germany. Has anybody seen it at a shop, or online shop?

Thanks

I'd go with the Papst 4412F/2GLL for 95kr. ditto, but make sure the fans they ship have the blue/silver embPapst logo. The picture still shows the old black and white logo, which doesn't necessarily mean that they are still shipping that version - maybe they just didn't update the picture. But some...

...then they definatly arnt still selling the old ones anymore. At least Papst is not. But you have to be careful, a lot of retailers and online shops still sell their old stock of the old fans. And Sizzle is right, they do have a tendancy to click at low voltages. I heard a one to one comparison a...

Re: Help me quiet down my new Antec P180 rig

There seems to be more than one Papst fan model, and I don't seem to be able to find the Papst 4412FGL. However, I can find: - Papst 4412F/2GL - 1600RPM, 26dBA - Papst 4412F/2GLL - 1200RPM, 18dBA If your looking for a Papst fan, go for the 4412F/2GLL. It has just a bit more airflow than the Nexus a...

Why don't you just get the diNova and try it out. If it turns out that you don't like it, you can always unload it in Ebay. That combi set would definitely have a good resale value. Just make sure to keep the original packaging and place the auction at a good day/time. In fact some people are so stu...

Maybe you should take the Papst 4412 F/2GLL into consideration. On my SI-120 at 5V I can't hear it at all, and it has a bit more CFM than the Nexus.

Devolo's FAQ confirms my fear: the dLAN adapter shouldn't be plugged into a surge suppressor, because the noise filters attenuate the data signal. The technology may be convenient, but don't forget this serious drawback. Not being the electrician expert, what does that mean exactly? That the signal...

Hi, I thought I'd share my experience with you. At first I didn't have a front case fan on my SLK3000B. But the side vents were also taped shut - so a pretty direct airflow. Playing around with some different ideas, I opened up the CPU side vent (not using the duct), and my CPU temps dropped 2-3C. I...

It has built in encryption. You set all devices to a password (default is typically something like "Homeplug" or vender name), and your traffic is isolated from other powerline networks on the same segment. Not only that, but I couldn't even see the other adapter in the network until I knew it's Se...

My 3000B used to hum a fair amount until I suspended my hard drives. If you haven't done so already I recommend you do it. I did it by turning the hard drive cage sideways and using a few bungies. If that doesn't fix the problem than you should soft mount your rear fan. I second this advice whole h...

The first verison of my setup also had the side intakes taped shut. After opening the CPU intake my CPU temps dropped 2-3 degrees C. You might want to try that, or the duct for that matter.

Having read quite a few P180 stories and having seen quite a few pictures of P180 set ups, there seems to be very little hard drive suspension in those cases (if any). Why is that?

Hello,

The fan header in the S12 monitors the rpms of the psu fan. It does not supply power to the fan. You can read out the rpms in SW such as AsusProbe.
