FireTech - have you decided on a board? I've seen your posts over at the AT forums. I got tired of waiting on the round-up reviews after however many mths its been now, so settled on the Asus for the moment. Waiting for it to arrive. Hopefully it will be ok in the short term, and I plan to replace ...

It you look on the second page of the English manual:

you will see that it says:
http://www.antec.com/pdf/manuals/NSK3480_manual_EN.pdf
you will see that it says:
The NSK3480 becomes available in Australia on 04/09/2007. I just hope we're getting the EarthWatts 380W PSU.The NSK3480 comes with an EarthWatts 380 watt PSU.

Re: InWin BT611 low profile microATX case
Did you consider the In Win BL631? http://www.in-win.com.tw/products_case_series.php?cat_id=1&series_id=44 It's dimensions are: H x W x D 13" x 3.8" x 14.4" 330 x 96 x 365 mm (11.5L) So, it's not as deep as the BT611. It has the partition plate like the BK623. It doesn't look like it's available in ...

It looks as if Antec has updated their NSK3480 web page to state that the PSU is an EarthWatts PSU:

Re: My brief experience with this case
Thanks for the review buzzlightyear. From one of the reviews, it looks as if In Win are planning on launching their our own 300W TFX PSU for the Mt Jade/BK623 later this year. Hopefully, it will be even quieter. 55-58c under Prime95 seems a bit high IMO. But, it may be within the allowable temperatu...

What is confusing is on the 3480 page is that one part says high efficiency power supply while the other says it includes the Earthwatts. Yeah and some retailers are even advertising them as EA-380 PSUs. Antec should clear this up once and for all. As a side note, the NSK4480/NSK4480B appears to be...

When will Antec NSK1400/Micro Fusion be released
Does anybody know when the Antec NSK1400 or Micro Fusion will be released? It was on display during CeBIT, along with the Mini P182.
Any chance of Antec releasing an all-black version of the NSK1400?

Instead of using the Partition plate, which seems to be tailored for the Stock Intel Cooler, what if we just use an after market CPU cooler (one that pushes air to nearby components). Would it be just as effective? Of all the micro-atx cases (suitable for building an HTPC) that I've looked at, this ...

In Win BK623 - mATX Case
Does anybody have any experience with this case?

It looks like a nice little SFF like case. With a bit of modding, I wonder how quiet we can make this thing.

the su-380 is also a seasonic psu and isn't bad at all. I did a fan swap to a low speed panaflo and it was great. I have an ea380 and I don't have any coil whine or annoying noises coming out of it. However, I am not fanatical about my sounds. 8) Bendit, which one do you think is quieter: An SU-380...

Is the new EA version PSU definitely an improvement (in SPCR sound terms) over the SU version? I bought the NSK3400 a few months back and replaced the SU-380 fan with a medium speed 80mm Panaflo fan. I haven't had any problems since the swap and it's very quiet. I believe the EA version is meant to...

how did you lower the v to 1.1? It was done through the motherboard BIOS. maybe the use of said program has caused qfan to not function, i'm pretty sure it works with/like cool and quiet. I just checked the settings in the BIOS. Q-Fan is enabled and the Fan Type is set to PWM. So, with Q-FAN enabled, the fan speed on the Alpine 7 is sitting hovering around 900-930 rpm. It doesn't seem to change, even after I've lowered the CPU voltage to 1.1V. The CPU temperature is anywhere between...

I use a arctic alpine7 in my nsk3300 and I'm glad someone is using it for their builds. Maybe you saw me championing it somewhere else. I am very happy with the performance of the alpine7. Will Pioneer DVR-212D fit in Antec NSK3400?
Does anybody know if the Pioneer DVR-212D DVD Burner will fit in the Antec NSK3400? According the Antec Website, the NSK3400 will only accept 5.25" drives up to 175mm/6.9" long. The Pioneer DVR-212D is 180mm in depth.

Actually, the lower fan voltage may not be such a worry. Presumably the voltage is set in response to the temperature sensed on a PSU heatsink. That way, the fan voltage will rise once the internal temperature gets hot. A slower calibrated fan should still be fine, but just mean the PSU runs hotter...

If you specify what components you have it'll be possible to estimate (pretty accurately) how much power you'll draw. That way you'll know if you can live with a slower fan. Here are the components I plan on using: CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ Brisbane 65nm Heatsink/Fan for CPU: Arctic Cooling Alpin...
