40mm fans daisy-chained
I'm using 3 of these to cool my server's ram (4 naked ECC sticks) and I'm wondering if I can daisy chain the three connectors together into one. Will this cut my current down to a third compared to connecting each fan to the motherboard? I see that Corsair has done this with their Airflow memory coo...

I need some answers (URGENT!)
1. Does the Thermalright Ultra 120 Xtreme fit on the DFI X38/P35 boards with a HR-05 on the NB? Or do I have to get the SLi version? 2. I know some people have fitted 120mm fans in the intake of the SOLO/P150 (instead of the 92mm fans). Is it recommended? Anything need modding/cutting? 3. 120mm fan ...

Where do you get this info? Last I've heard, the Thermalright HR03 IS A HS, NOT a fan. Also, you CAN put 120mm fans on it...I don't think you can fit two on the S1 either... Actually I own one, so I have first hand experience. This picture shows two 92mm fans on the S1: http://img2.uploadhouse.com/...

I think you should take a look at the new Thermaright coolers too, then have a passive to passive comparison. That would indeed be interesting. My experience of the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme is that it's not that brilliant. Because you can't have automatic fan speed control easily (the header ...

Re: A Solo Question (haha)
Does anyone know if there's adequate clearance (and breathing space) for a 120mm fan in the lower 3 5.25 bays WITH the bay covers on? The vents for the intake extend all the way up, so I'm thinking that could also work for a bay mounted intake. Yes there is, presuming you're going to remove the kno...
