I've tried the Panaflos (3 of them) and i'm not very impressed by them. The quitest of them, still has a mini airplane noise (it's not air noise) and a little chu-chu, when listened with my ear close to it. Anyway, there are not that bad, this way i just found out that my Evercool 120mm fan, has bro...

I have only 1 hdd, a Samsung drive and i don't have any problems with it's temperature.
But i have a 9800Pro (with silencer on low), and is very hot, radiating heat all over the place (including the cpu)...

Why is the passive filter box on the bottom, elevated (if this is the correct word - sorry for my poor english skills) from the floor of the case?

Besides lower hdd temperatures, are any other advantages in an good airflow case (like 3700AMB case, with good wire management)? Isn't enough only one 120mm fan in the back?

ps: oh, and i'm planning to use an aluminium filter in front, removing the case's default one...

Is globe's noise, so bad? I mean, can you hear the bearing noise\clicks\whatever (i don't mind air noise) from a distance ~2 feet in a really quiet room? With the fan at 6-7v.

Same thing . Not very efficient and they smell (you need to keep them in open air for a week or so, till the smell fades away). But they're cheap. If you have the money, go for the AcoustiPack...

In Europe just arrived, don't know about the US. Only the 370 and 470 Noisetakers are available for now. It's working fine.
