I've tried the Panaflos (3 of them) and i'm not very impressed by them. The quitest of them, still has a mini airplane noise (it's not air noise) and a little chu-chu, when listened with my ear close to it. Is the front case fan necessary?
Besides lower hdd temperatures, are any other advantages in an good airflow case (like 3700AMB case, with good wire management)? Isn't enough only one 120mm fan in the back?
ps: oh, and i'm planning to use an aluminium filter in front, removing the case's default one...

And there is nothing about aluminum that makes it superior to copper for heat transfer, in any airflow. It's advantages are lower weight, lower cost, and easier machining...that's it. In Europe just arrived, don't know about the US. Only the 370 and 470 Noisetakers are available for now. It's working fine. It doesn't whine(except the Diablo 2 thing, mentioned in an earlier post of mine. It's pretty quiet so far (same as 1.3 version, i guess). Version 2.0 is compatible with ATX 2....
