It is the newer S12, in fact it's 20 days old so I don't like the ideea of voiding the warranty.
I would like to know what the rpm would be during light work (internet, office documents, music, movies - not all at the same time) - [I have onboard graphics and 1 HDD)
Thanks for your time. :P

Hi, I speak from experience: I own the TT golden orb2 and it's somewhat noisy at full spead (1700 RPM); however, my motherboard (gigabyte) is controling it so it speens around 850-1050 RPM (it never went over 50 C). Be wise and get the right case (mine is the SOLO :D ), it really does work; it reduc...

New system doubts

Hi, I've been through every single review and most of the topics in the forum and decided it is time to build myself a super silent pc. These are the parts I picked up: 1. Intel® Desktop Board DG965WH (http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/DG965WH/index.htm) 2. CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 3. Coo...

Hello, just finished the setup. It's much, much better than I ever expected. It's very, very quiet. ThankU for existing; it's just wonderful buying the products "prescribed" only to find out they are as good as your tests show. I can't hear at all: 1. the Seasonic S12 430W 2. the Thermaltake CPU hea...

Silent case+PSU combinations

I read every review on the topic you wrote. I am supersensitive about silence and I'm tring to terminate the noise my pc makes. My hardware is: CPU: P4 2660 MHz (506), LGA 775 HS: Thermaltake golden orb (rpm<1000/min all the time) MB: Gigabyte 945 GMF (microATX), vodeo on bord HDD: WD 80 GB SATA II ...
