You could try a monitoring utility like FahMon. It tells you the preferred deadline and the final deadline for your current work unit. I imagine if it tells you "none" or "n/a" or the like, you've been assigned a WU with no deadline.

That sounds reasonable, actually. I remember reading a theory that the top and rear exhaust fans are close enough to each other that they'll work against each other.

For an interesting experiment, try re-mounting the top fan as an intake.

Chipset Cooler Roundup

The Jing Ting solutions and get compared to the Thermalright HR-05 in a Madshirps review. Some SPCR readers took issue with the testing mehodology, though.
