My thermaltake was supposed to be very quiet (they said that it emitted 19 decibels) and it sounded like a lawn mower. Thermaltakes are not worth the money you'll save going with them. If anything you are throwing away money as down the road you will want to replace your PSU, as not only will it be ...

Does anyone know if there are any good reviews regarding how this heatsink performs? I am considering replacing my SP-94 with this.

Edit: I just found out that it was already reviewed:

Nexus Fan Failure

I have an 80mm Real Silent Case Fan, which I used to use in my old case (which I replaced yesterday). For some strange reason, temps shot up a few months back, a problem I attributed to dust. I cleaned out my case and the temps dropped back down considerably so I figured that the dust was the proble...

Greetings, You could do a whole lot worse than the Evercase 4252. I built an Athlon 64 4000+ (Newcastle, so this is hotter than the 4800+ X2), 4GB RAM, two RAID 1 arrays (four HD's), and the whole system is quiet. The HD seek noise is the only thing audible whe it is under the desk in a quiet offic...

While the P150 is superior noise wise. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole if I was going to mount a relative old socket A board in it. The may have fixed the problems with the NeoHE PSU and certain Asus boards, but I haven't seen any indication that this fixed the problems it had with some ol...

One of the rubber bands in my new P150 snapped. I just did one twist... hmmph. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I didn't see any in the spare parts section of Antec's online store. AntecRep, are you listening? ;-) I just got a P150. If the rubber bands snap and my hard drive falls, A...

I bought a P150

I brought an Antec P150 case to replace my generic one primarily because it had built in hard drive suspension. I finished my case swap today. Here are my impressions: My PC is much quieter than before. I had suspected the hard drive made the majority of the noise but I had not thought that suspendi...

I am thinking about building a PSU - some questions

I am thinking about building a PSU for my PC for fun but I have a few questions... How on earth do you get greater than 81% efficiency (wikipedia says that 81% efficiency is the limit) with a full wave rectifer? I know it can be done after looking at my Antec Phantom's efficiency ratings, but I do n...

Re: reducing optical drive noise

I am looking for a way to reduce the seek and idle spin noise of my optical drives. Though not the quietest drives around the noise during seek is somewhat irritating. I believe that most of the noise is coming from vibrations either against the case or from the entire drive itself. I was wondering...

There is nothing about an Intel D875PBZLK motherboard over there. I guess it is not too popular with enthusiasts. Are there any other lists of motherboards that work with the CT-479 adapter but are unsupported.

I have an Antec Phantom 350 and I really like it but I would like my UPS to last longer during black outs (switching to it from a super inefficient thermaltake PSU with Active PFC gave me about 1 more minute of battery life). Not to mention the little tiny particles (i.e. dirt and algae) would build up inside the water blocks and various tubing. A better idea would be to put the radiator in the stream. If nuclear power plants can do it, we can too.
