Hi, for info on the Panaflo 120mm range see Panasonic’s page. For a guide to deciphering the model numbers see the second page of this document. Panasonic’s home page for Panaflo axial fans is here.
Hope this helps,
Seb

Hi, I don't know of anywhere selling them in the UK (or Europe) but End PC Noise and Silicon Acoustics both carry it at 60$ and 65$. I'm sure they could ship you one but I don't know at what expense, might be worth an email to ask them.

Hi mormakil I recently bought a Lite-On 811s, haven't used it very much yet, nor tried 8x DVD burning at all. So far I'm very pleased but previously I had a 4x CDRW so it doesn't have much to live up to! Burning a CD in 3 instead of 20 minutes is great. Noise wise it's not too bad, 40x CD is never g...

Hi foothoss, you might like to take a look at this thread . The Zalman 7000, NB32J and ZM80 definitely all fit together on the IC7/IS7. See here . As there is room for the Zalman ZM80 I would expect the ACVS to fit fine as well. Fitting the NB47J will require a little work. One method is to glue it ...

Hi Tobias, as far as I know the locked multipliers are just that. Locked inside the chip with no way round it, like Intel chips. (I may be wrong and someone's found a way) This means you overclock by increasing the FSB (front side bus). 2500s run 1833MHz, 11x166FSB (333 as it's double pumped) Many 2...

Hi chrisojeda, Zalman rate the fan controller at 7W (>0.5A) per channel. The fans you have should say on them how much power they need, a quick look here gives 4W for the Panaflo 120M1A and 2.7W and 1.3W for the 90H1A and 90L1A fans, so you will be fine. You can even put multiple fans on one channel...

Hi AIS, AAM that could be Air to Air Missile! Urmm probably not, more likely to be Automatic Acoustic Management. In very simple terms the drive reduces and generally manages it seek speed to reduce the amount of noise it makes, it does not affect idle noise. This will cause a drop in performance bu...

Hi thebiggreenone, if you have the "old style" NB fan you can do this . Blurb about the mod here . Don't know about the "new style" heat sink, its much bigger and some flow around it may be enough. I did once find a pic of both styles side by side. If you have the new style cooler and you can't do s...

Hi Herodotus, as Trip points out I have an FEK-Pro and it does reduce the HDDs idle noise. The seek noise is much reduced but I had it screwed directly to the chassis before so anything’s better than that! Having the FEK sitting on foam as against screwed to the case made little difference to the se...

Hi, don't get me wrong the FEK-Pro does work. It does reduce the noise from the HDD noticeably, but it doesn't work miracles. Please keep in mind that I was writing about it in an environment with no audiable background noise. The temperature I quoted was the SMART value read from the drive's intern...

Hi, I've got an FEK-Pro (a red one). It's got 80GB Barracuda ATA IV in it and its mounted in the bottom 5¼ bay (of 4) with more or less no air flow. According to the drive's SMART info the temp gets up to 43°C and the FEK itself gets warm to the touch but not hot. I haven't got round to taking the d...
