Those Xigmateks performed good due to the unfair methodology. That CPU's low TDP doesn't cause any problems to any CPU cooler. And comparing them with True at low rpm?! What?! Everyone knows that True's arhitecture is designed to perform good at high rpm (lower fin distance). Compare them again wit...

I didn't read the whole thread, but I can't believe that your problem is bottlenecked by network speed. Did you check if the problem is a driver and/or codec problem? Does the video play smoothly locally on the target machine?

You'll be hard pressed to find a good cooler for older cards like the X800. Seriously the Accelero S2 is likely your best choice. It is cheap and has incredible passive performance. Since your PSU is directly above the card, I'm guessing that the S2 is too tall for your case? If that's true then you...

I'm very happy that ATI (unlike nVidia with the new GT300 parts) will be making a smaller chip on a smaller process. My WAG is that the GT300 will run hot. Yeah at first I was also very disappointed with the GT300. But if you read later on in the Anandtech article, the actual physical die size is a...

Intel's Lynnfield (Core i5 and some models of Core i7) has just been released, so many people are not yet familiar with it. I don't know how it stacks price-wise compared to AMD's chips, but it is Intel's performance value king right now. If you want to maximize your performance per dollar (or pound...

But strongly feel it has to be a limitation on the +12V. The way to prove this would be use your spare PSU to provide +12V to the 4-pin mobo socket with the Pico in the 20-pin mobo. Hang an old HDD off the old PSU (to provide some load) then jump start the old PSU with a paper clip. Then try start ...

The ps3 slim has fewer games not including Halo 3. Oh please. You have to be blind to still be thinking this.
