I have a AXP2800+ cooled by a crappy Volcano7+ inside a Sonata. I have done some silencing but I cant seem to achieve COOL and QUIET ><.
How quiet is my Sonata right now if i hear a small hum from about 3.5~4m. Maybe its just my head, or its really something, but the hum is not loud but noticeable. Most likely it is my volcano7 and I am looking forward to replace it ASAP to get more silence.

No idea, but I'd consider it loud and annoying if it were very audible from 3-4m.
I'd actually suggest examining your hard drives to see if it's the cause. I just fixed a hard drive vibration problem this morning, and trust me, they can be quite audible.

Take your pick....
Volcano, hdds, VGA card, rear fan, fan grill, PUS (sorry, I meant the PSU but turns out they're the same thing
)

hdd - potentially
volcano - DEFINITELY part of it
VGA - nope, set the fan to inaudible speed
rear fan - potentially
fan grill - dont think so
psu - not audible unless all fans off
