For a while the noise from my Tuniq and BFG OC 8800 GTX was getting annoying.
I read the TJ07 review multiple times from SPCR, took a lot of the advice and replaced all the fans with Nexus, bought the sound dampening enclosures for the case fans as well and replaced the Tuniq with a Thermalright 120 Extreme and another Thermalright for the 8800 card.
Its still a work in progress but the sound is down significantly! My GPU temp alone dropped from 72 to 52 idle!
A big thanks for the review and I do have one question. From the article, one of the upgrades to help this case get closer to silent running was sound dampening material. That comes in the mail tomorrow but I don't know what the key areas would be on this case for the material to be placed. Any feedback would be appreciated!
