That's right! Even if you don't have that option in your motherboard. You can mod the pins in the CPU.

I've modified that on my processor, though in the opposite direction. I made the default voltage on my xp1800+ dlt3c to be 1.6v instead of 1.5v. I also modified it to default at 166fsb, and changed the default multiplier by blowing / connectin bridges.
That voltage mod was funny though, as I originally modded it to 1.65v. I made one contact very badly, and it was randomly changing between 1.6 and 1.65... If I made it stable at 1.65, the computer would freeze as soon as it lost contact again. After a couple of crashes I made sure it would default to 1.6v. (ofcourse this was a problem that came from my careless mod)

actually, I did'nt do it like they have it now on the page, rather I just blew and connected bridges on the top of the cpu... (should have waited for teh page to load before talking out...)
