Edit: forgot to choose the right forum, someone please move to graphics forum...

The headline says it all.

I've looked at the schooner, but I'm not sure if it's good enough, if there's anything better I'd like to know. And yes, I'll have good airflow through my case.

System:

The Zalman ZM80D-HP works great passively for me. I idle around 60C and max out at 75-80C. Warm, but you can't hear it, or much of anything else.

My brother cools a 6800gt with the Schooner.

Do a search on Shruiy and you can get his mini review. Has its limitations but it is very effective.

The ZM80D-HP beats the Schooner hands down... read my comparison of the two.

How come? Have you seen the two compared?

I would be interested (academically speaking) to see that.
