A lot of photos
What was done??
I disassembled the mesh of the fan first, for better air flow.
I lined the sponge the front panel from the internal side, for noise dumping.
It was the next stage lines neuralgic elements the acoustic sponge.
Here we can see Noisblocker S1 Fan mounted in top of case.
Intake at the front was covered mikro filter uses in professional audio.
The resistance of the air was reduced to minimum, case is dust free ...
All fans were mounted with silicone slicks (NoiseBlocker)
Every edges were stuck soft textile tape for elimination of resonance
The bundle of the power supply during the alteration
Most of wires are in textile plaiting, red black and brown.
Interior photos:
Each fan is runing 5V or have own potentiometer. It's quiet ^_^
Here we can see Zalman Fatal1ty cooper radiator.
Cooler is without fan, its totaly passive (it will be semipasive vented by PSU in future)
This is my new LCD 4x20 (black with white characters) before assembly.
..and after assembly
Minimal look, i love it!!! Now I can see that my computer alive.
Rear:
Side:
Front:
..and my desk with 20" Wide LCD from Philips.
Plans on the future:
- Lasercut small window (right side of case)
- Aluminium stand foots
- Watercooling (CPU + graphic card)
- Heatpipes for MOSFETs and NB
- Hi performance Cu radiator inside PSU.
- Tunnel for RAM sticks for better air flow.
- 2GB Crucial Balistix
- P4 3.0 GHz 630/631 for hard OCK ;P

...i do it, but this will be difficult a specialy with the main bundle.McBanjo wrote:You could try to improve that cablemanagement. The rest of the case is so neat so those cable ruins it a bit. Great job otherwise
Incomming modifications:
Change of PSU;
New (old) Radeon 9500PRO with unique cooper heat spreaders (all passive);
...i think this is not available in stores. I took them from the set of DynaAudio loudspeakers (used in car audio).mcoleg wrote:"Intake at the front was covered mikro filter uses in professional audio."
any links for that?
i've been trying to get some good filters and so far most are either not good enough or they block too much flow...
thanks
However he is one disadvantage, fitr you should clean by hoover once in the week. Advantage... 3 months and interior looks almost perfect!!!

That is a really nice build. Just one question. What kind of textile tape did you use and where did you get it?
I myself am in the process of working on a Lian-Li (PC-201B) and would like to put a layer of similar tape around where the side panels attach to the case itself.
I will eventually post some pics here, although my handy work isn't going to be as clean I think (I really should get a good straight edge and a scalpel to cut the sound insulation...) It certainly won't be a "quiet" case, but it will be "quieter" at least in terms of covering as much as I can with sound absorption, quieter fans, and removing some rattles. But it is a performance PC file server with a 2TB 4 disk RAID plus 10K RPM OS disk, with room to expand to another 4TB without replacing disks for higher capacity.

Very nice, simple clean look. I like cases that are highly functional, and look great without too many lights or flashy things. I really like the LCD display on the top of your case. Looks like you cut the opening at the top of your case perfectly.
good job.
I also think every fan should have a pentiometer as well, I love my Zalman fan controller, it lets you find the exact right speed for each fan.

I used something like this: http://www.tesa.si/professional/industr ... 94235.html
Last modification - Radeon 9500PRO @ 0dB (prepared for overclocking)
- Custom coopper heatsinks for DDRs (heavy thing)
- Thermalright HR-05SLI shaped in my hands :O
...results of overclocking soon
