The model of the screen is: Samsung SyncMaster 931bw.

I do have a link from the company that made it.

http://www.vogels.com/detail.asp?ISSAID ... &PlineId=0

On the site you'll find every detail needed.
Personally I'm very happy with the stand! It can be moved in allot of possitions from: hight, corner and distance.

The 226BW won't be a problem the mount is VESA certified for different screen types and sizes.

i must question your choice of the Western Digital MyBook. I have the 400gb model, and its LOUD beyond all else. thoughts?

i think my fan is dying too, i've been debating taking the fan out altogether, but i'm not sure if thats a smart idea. i've taken it apart, but it would take lots of work.

unless there's a 30mm silent fan?

The Myboook heh thats a different story.

Indeed it is noisy, but thats mostly because of vibration noise.
It can be more silent when it's placed on some foam.
But what I have heard is that most external HDD's are noisy.

One thing with my version is, it doesn't boot with the PC. It only boots when I press the switch......
I stripped the cable that goes to the adapter and connected a nice switch betwean it. So when I want to backup some files I press the switch and it boots. when I'm ready I press the switch on the Mybook and then then one one the cable.

Which LCD mount are you using? Also, how did you manage to get your fans to hang like that? I'm really impressed with how clean your setup looks.

The fans on the Heatsinks are clipped on with the clips that come with the heatsinks. All the other fans are put on with rubber plugs:
