Hi all,
Thought I'd share my current build - made from some Qubelok pieces, aluminium rectangular cross sections and aluminium plates.
Cross sections form a cube, and motherboards are mounted on the aluminium plates drilled with mATX hole pattern.
It'll have two motherboards located in the same cube - will put photos up soonish.

Frame photos
The bare frame constructed from aluminium RHS' and Qubelok corners.
With the mATX drilled aluminium plates. The bolts are locked into place with fasteners & red loctite.
Need to get some shorter bolts for fixing the plates to the frame, maybe with some wingnuts.
Below: Temp installation with one MB in place.

Your links were to the webpages where the images are displayed, not the web address of the actual image.

Instead of using your hosts preformed code...go to the link, right click the image "view image" then paste that url from the location bar between the img brackets.

Looks sweet so far! Be interesting to see if/what resonance issues you may run into.

ntavlas - Yes, that's the intended arrangement. Looking to put a large (200mm+) low RPM fan at the bottom to enhance convection. I'm looking at putting in a video card on the main PC, so unassisted convection might be problematic. If there's no vid card, the arrangement would probably work without the fan assist.
The bottom section of the frame is for the gel-packed HDDs. Not quite sure how to put that together yet.
Now to hack together a rudimentary control panel so I can switch the incoming power, and to reset the two PCs independently.
