P180 Floppy Drive Installation Problems
Has anyone put a floppy drive in the external 3.5" drive bay?
I have stalled out on this step. It...just...won't...work.
If anyone could provide detailed steps, I would be grateful.
Thanks in advance.

I never installed a floppy drive on my P180, but I had installed a fan controller in the 3.5" bay. You need the smaller bracket. Screw them after the floppy, and then slide them into the case by the front. You might consider passing the floppy cables by the same place first and plug it, because if you don't it's a real pain getting to the plugs.

Thanks, Phil.
I attached the rails, attached the cables, slid the device in from the front, but NO SNAP. So, the device is in there, and will probably not be coming out, but I would be happier if it were better secured in the bay. It moves around if you tug on it.
Just wondering if there is something I'm missing.
Why do I need a floppy? BIOS, recovery, etc etc. Also, my floppy functions as a card reader, so transferring photos, etc, etc.
Thanks for your advice.
