Wanted: case where the case itself is a CPU heatsink

Enclosures and acoustic damping to help quiet them.

Wanted: case where the case itself is a CPU heatsink

Post by pyite » Fri Aug 17, 2007 6:53 am

Can someone here recommend a nice HTPC-style case where the case itself can connect to the CPU and replace cooling fan? I would prefer a low profile Micro-ATX or Micro-ATX sized case, but I would have to consider a regular ATX too if that is all that is available.

Thanks!
Mark

Thermalright had a bunch of of heatsink cases planned for release this month. I don't know if they're on schedule, but they might be worth waiting for. More options, etc.

I'm not sure if anyone here has tried one of these, but they might be worth a look; maybe a bit larger than you're looking for.
