Still looking for a compact mATX tower case.. 17cm wide, 35cm deep, 36cm high, ATX PSU, 1x 2.5" HDD/SSD, no ODDs, external bays.
Did someone come up with a design yet?
Fractal Design 1000 is close but a bit too deep.

For those size constraints consider MiniITX instead.

Re: Compact mATX tower
I already have mATX boards and PSUs.. and mITX / SFX is still more expensive with less choice.
mATX should fit easily shouldn't it?

Aerocool QS-180/QS-182, Kolink KLM-001: these are the only ones I'm aware of, atm.

The Modecom Alfa M2 is a little bit too big at (WxHxD): 176x380x300mm.
But it uses thumbscrews for the side panels and has tall, HTPC-style aluminum case feet. If you replace the thumbscrews with phillips head screws and remove the feet (and maybe put it on sliders you can stick under furniture, or none at all) it might just fit in the space.

Wow, that one's quite nice!
I'm not a fan of the (thumb)screws on the sides though.
