Post by oldabelincoln » Thu Sep 18, 2003 11:32 pm

at http://www.ocia.net/reviews/LianLi6077/ ... ntro.shtml.

Modular bays, case bottom passive intake, stealthed FDD and 1 optical, HDD cage is small.

Unique.

I'd love to know myself.

After stumbling on the case a while ago whilst looking for something else, I found only announcements at various sites, with no reviews. Since then I've been looking for reviews and finally found the one above.

The vendor that supplied the review unit lists the 6077 as out of stock.

There are 2 or 3 other retailers that list it - easily found via Google - but I've never heard of them and as they do not list available quantities, I wonder if they really have any available for sale. And till someone actually has some for sale, the posted prices of $148 to 165 seem questionable.

Be nice to see a more in-depth review with more illustrative pictures...

I really like this casing. I'm thinking of buying it. However, over here it's quite expensive for some reason. Where did the extra cost come from anyway? This casing along with other Lian Li casing are incredibly cheap if you buy it in Taiwan!

Very nice!

Shame about the Fan exhaust ports - need to cut em out.

I hope the Antec P160 ahs a motherboard tray like this, where the pci slots slid eout together with the tray. But from what I ahve seen from pics, this may not be the case :(

I don't understand the fascination with removable motherboard trays. In order to truly remove the tray, you'd still need to disconnect every cable that is connected to it. I have a removable tray in my soon-to-be-replaced first version InWin Q500 and I've only really used it to move the tray itself out of the way of the drive bays to install or remove a drive.

Isn't a motherboard tray also another potential piece to vibrate?

Personally I dislike removable mobo trays. Ive never had a use for them, and its just something else to be a little loose and rattle. I rather everything be bolted down tightly.

It's sweet that every drive bay is a 5.25" bay. That allows you freedom to install more optical drives, fancontrollers, easily decouple hard drives, etc. I say 'down with 3.5" drive bays!' :)

Now I'm just having trouble deciding what to put into all those 5.25" bays!

The best thing with Lian Li has to be the bezels making the front nice looking? Does anybody know ehere I can buy them, in EU (preferably Sweden)?
Do they fit any 5.25 bay, with any cd device?
