having used the nifty WISS Tin Snips, I've "freed" the front and rear intake of my AccoustiCase 6607, as the grills were pretty restrictive, ending up with jagged parts to a degree, as is normal.
Now, after some filing (no Dremel), I thought "sod this for a laugh..." and tried fitting my edging moulding, I finally DID get it to fit (took a little bit of patience, but it worked).
Runnign my fingers on the inside, I can feel the uneveness of it, but it's all "safe" as far as fingers are concerned.
So - should I really remove the edging again, and file it all down? Or is there a reason why I shouldn't go for a "slightly" messy solution (I don't fancy spending an hour grinding away with a file...)

Incidentally, I'm intending to leave the front-intake grill-less (since it's behind the bezel + filter anyway), and am contemplating the same on the rear venting hole, as fitting a grill would involve my having to get creative due to certain factors...
