I recently got the antec 3700amb. I haven't built the system yet so I have no idea how quiet the stock 120mm antec fan is (at any speed).
I'm thinking that I'll slap an 80mm panaflo on there if I'm not satisfied with the 120mm antec.
Is there a simple way to do this (besides using the 120-80mm adapter)?
I'm prepared to buy some tin snips.
How do I mod a 120mm grill to hold an 80mm fan?

Just use the holes in the existing grills to mount it to. That's exactly what I did to the front grill on my SLK3700. When I was prepping the new case I really wasn't usre what fan (if any) I was going to use on the front so I left the grill intact. I ended up using a 92mm fan bolted onto the grill itself. I had to slightly open up a few holes to get all four mounting points to fit.
