Hey, I'm really glad people like this color scheme. But the fact that colors are ever so slightly off from the forum background colors still disturbs me. The background colors entered (#EFEFEF and #DEE3E7) come out as #ECEEEC and #DCE2E4, and that's visible. What is not visible (to me) is that also the black and white (#000000 and #FFFFFF) are represented differently (as #040204 and #FCFEFC).
Is this a limitation on Jason's end when generating the GIFs? Or a limitation of the GIF format?
Finally, for those liking more color and the competition aspect of folding, we could also retain the EOC color coding of text depending on PPD, like this (just don't specify c5 to get this):

Turns out the cyan indicating 100-200PPD clashes badly with the forum colors---which should motivate me to quickly repair that XP3200 of mine that has been down for a while...
I think I really prefer plain black text, though.
PS: I'm really torn between colored text and plain black. As far as promoting folding goes, having inactive users gray and top folders red could help the team. I know personally that my motivation to work on becoming green (not realistic with my current setup) would be stronger

But visually there is no question, I really really really prefer black (and no, I won't underclock just to fall below 100PPD

). After all this is SPCR and not a folding site, so promoting folding should not degrade the aesthetics of these nice forums.
