Just got set up over to EOC in order to spread the news, but, I'm not activated yet.

I'm sure they'll want to hear from us.

I hate to admit it, but we are really getting our asses kicked by EOC the last two days. I'd like to think we will benefit when server .143 comes back online and we can upload all these Tinkers we have queued up, but I really have no reason to believe this will benefit us more than it will EOC. The reverse could just as easily be true.
Oh well, I did get some good news from one of our top folders, so there is reason for some optimism, but this news was more of a long term thing and therefore will not help us survive our current "crisis" (losing to EOC).

We kept pace with EOC today, even gaining a little bit on them. Let's keep it up!

Yes, the race is very much still on. We are less than 3000 points behind EOC, which is a very slim gap.
I only wish I had some more firepower to bring online (I already borged the family's comp). Oh well, if nothing else we've managed to drag EOC's production way up which is good for the project overall.
We seem to have that effect on other teams, just as we pass them they decide its time to hit back. Maybe they just don't notice us as a threat till they're eating our dust, sneaking up so quietly and all.

Excellent, their lead was at 5k for most of the weekend IIRC. We're keeping it close!

We're still close, but the gap has now moved out to about 6k. Not much still but it's growing at about 1k ppd.
If you look at the EOC team page on the eoc stats they have taken in quite a lot of new members recently (not as many as the mac guys did but a lot more than us). Its in these new members that a large part of their increase in production has come. They have a large community over at the EOC forums that don't all fold so they were able to call up enough support to just get ahead of us. Too bad we don't have as large a reserve of members to call into the folding team on need. We should still try to encourage our silent friends to fold for us of course. Sometimes all the talk of idle temps in the other forums has me bewildered.

Hello Team:
The most recent update puts us *up* by about 1600 points on the day, so we may yet claw our way back above them...
