I got a Thermalright HR-03 Plus heatsink to put on an EVGA GeForce 8800 GT video card for the new system I am building. The front of the EVGA card is covered by a metal enclosure that I have to remove in order to replace the stock cooler with the one from Thermalright. The metal cover has slots in its sides that fit over metal tabs on the video card. I tried gently prying one side of the cover out and up to remove it without success. Should I not worry about destroying the cover to remove it? Will that void the warranty? Is there some trick I am missing?
I tried to put a picture of it here, but couldn't figure out how to do it. Instructions for that would be appreciated. If they are already on this site, a pointer in that direction would be fine.

How do I get to the stock cooler on my 8800GT to remove it?
