My dad made it a sport to sneak up to me when I was listening with headphones (no money for speakers at the time). He managed to startle me every single time, resulting in me cursing and him laughing his ass off.
That has happened... Though personally i find it more enjoyable to sneak up behind someone and then just stand there waiting for them to notice me. It's particularly funnny if the person in question is singing along to backstreet boys

The Birthday Massacre - Violet

Remember the last time i posted about The Birthday Massacre? Probably not but i've been trying to get the record since, and it arrived in the mail today along with The Knife -Silent Shout. I got them from the U.S. thru Play.com eventually... :) The records i like seem to get harder to get by every new artist i get interested in...

Do you also have a huge, brown leather chair behind your heavy wooden desk? With the only window behind you so all your loyal minions can only see your silhouette?

I've heard good things about this album - how do you like it and what is the genre (completely unfamiliar with Arcade Fire here...)?

I like it.

I utterly suck at describing genres. This article might do a bit better of a job. Ultimately I believe that the best way to find out if you like it is to listen to it. Technology these days makes it easy.

Hi,

I'm currently listening to:

The white stripes - Seven nation army
Queen - The show must go on
Rolling stones - Paint it black
Within temptation - Ice queen
Felix - Don't you want my love

8) just test running my 5-audiozone JRMC setup on my HTPC.

Oh, and before I start ignoring it .... I'm also listening to my wife nagging about when I'll be finished testing ;)
