Serious Eye Candy

Wow, that's some seriously nice kit ... Like test driving a car I couldn't afford, I had a brief shot of a D300 in my local shop last month when I was looking at tripods and just... wow.
As for my other lenses I've got a 50mm f1.7 and a beercan I managed to pick up before prices went through the roof. Absolutely stunning lens - wouldn't part with it for the world. I feel quite bumped about my Sigma though - ah well, luck of the draw I suppose! I want to get a travel lens but that'll be some time down the road as bitter experience tells me to stump up for a decent one or I'll end up regretting it.

You are saying is that it is wrong to question the merit of other people's actions because they were being "creative". As an intentionally provocative example, when they created a mushroom cloud over Hiroshima, some of us may be poised to ask the question was it worth it?walle wrote:No offence but you didn't get the point, but that’s alright.
When you say it is "waste of time" to do these things, you can do whatever you want with your time (such as make inane posts on the internet), but what right do you have to question how other people spend their time?yefi wrote:You are saying is that it is wrong to question the merit of other people's actions because they were being "creative". Don't be too sure about that - mine took over eight weeks to calibrate. In the meantime, I inherited some money and bought a really nasty kit: D700, 14-24/2.8, 24-70/2.8blackworx wrote:Cheers for the advice. I emailed Sigma and they got straight back to me saying just to send it in. Added bonus is I'll get it back before I go on holidayWibla wrote:You could always send it in for calibration, that usually helps
Anyone need a calibrated Sigma 10-20 for Nikon, btw
We're getting quite OT here...
