UDMA 7 (Ultra ATA/512)?

Post by JVM » Mon Nov 16, 2009 9:43 am

I am using Windows 7 and have SSD as system disk. There are a few things that I don't understand:

1. Windows 7 did not disable defrag or Superfetch.

2. In Device Manager you can see PIO mode and DMA can't be enabled--I have system set to AHCI

3. HD Tune reports Supported UDMA 6 (Ultra ATA/133) Active UDMA 7 (Ultra ATA/512)

Isn't Ultra ATA 512 PATA?

I am attaching pictures.
