hi having a problem here i cant fit a passive cooling on my 9600xt cause the case is to small do you know any active fans that are very very quiet? ;D

I believe EdwardNg fit an Iceberq cooler into his shuttle on an ATi 9800 non-pro. I'd recommend PMing him for details.

I'd say your best bet is trying to find an already passively cooled 9600, and buying/installing that in your shuttle.

I can't find the exact link, but someone managed to put a Aerocool Fanless VGA cooler in their SFF. It is possible; tight fit, but possible.

Yes, the VM-101 will fit, as long as two conditions are true:

A) You don't need the PCI slot next to it and

B) The CPU cooler and drive cage in your particular SFF don't get in the way; remember that VM-101 extends a good distance into the machine.

You could try one of the older Zalman ZM50-HP's http://www.zalmanusa.com/usa/product/vi ... _name=zm50.
It's one of the only passive cooling solutions that will fit in the rather limited space of a Shuttle.
