Hi everyone,
I want to upgrade my computer for a better graphic card, and transfer my actual card into my second computer, in order to be able to install Ubuntu (which does not work with Kyro chip BTW).
I have a silent card at the moment, a Saphire Radeon 9600 Atlantis 128MB DDR Memory (no fan at all).
Can you guys tell me what is the best AGP totally silent graphic card on the market at the moment? Or at least suggest a few of them.
I have read a good article on Tom's Hardware, but the cards have all fans, that is they all make noise.
Thanks for any good advice, and Merry Christmas to all.
Patrick

Asus EN7600GS Silent is what you need. Isn't listed as a current model on the ASUS website though oddly, just the non-passive one.

And then there's the GIGABYTE GV-N76G256D-RH GeForce 7600GS
Some lesser known manufacturers like Sparkle also have a passive AGP 7600GS card, but it will depend if your local mom n' pop PC parts places stock that brand. MSI has a passive 7600GS but I don't think it's available in North America.
Albatron also has a passive 7600GS card but I am getting conflicting pictures from various websites if the AGP or the PCIE part is passive. Also, their website is on the blink right now.
