I was wondering if it was suppose to be this hot? I am just wondering otherwise I am going to get the fan with it too. I must say I am very pleased with how quiet my computer is running now :)

As long as its stable, you're fine, regardless of how hot it feels.

You should be more worried if it was cool, that would mean that it wasn't transferring heat from the core properly.

I agree with Rusty. Any cool heatsink is probably not doing its job.

I'm really interested in purchasing this for my 5900u

Can you knock up a quick review, and be a little more precise when you say 'it's hot'?

I'd really appreciate it.

if you're planning on adding a different cooler on your 5900U then i'd say wait for the new line of vga silencer's to hit the market; I personally feel that these will cool better, and they offer better heat exhaustion from the case. and alsok speaking from having one on my 9700pro, they are very, very quiet.

It should be very hot--that's a good thing!
I doubt a Ti 4200 will even need a fan.

I suppose quiet here is a relative term.

I bet they'll be inaudible compared to my Maxtor DiamondMax HDs
