They make noise, too.

passively cooled low profile card with dvi-output

Post by kamina » Thu Feb 03, 2005 3:40 am

Does this exist? All I require from the card is that it has a dvi-output and fits in the antec minuet case... I am ready to bend / snap the metal at the end if need be.

I just got one of these:

Connect 3D Radeon 9600 128mb for £52.34 before tax. There's also a cheaper one at £30.64: Connect 3D Radeon 9250SE 128mb. Not sure about your case; these are standard AGP cards.

Guys Kamina is asking about passively cooled low profile card (half-height)

Like these.

PowerColor ATI Radeon 9250 128MB

or

PowerColor Radeon 9250 256MB

Directron has a couple, though they'd need the end hacked off. Unless they include the low-profile bracket as shown in Fabre's post. 9550 SE 128 and 9250 256.

Newegg has some FX5200s with similar design.

ZipZoomfly has a low profile Matrox P650 but from their photo it is NOT passive like the regular P650. Checked the Matrox site and they also show a fan on the low profile card :(
Sorry, I love my regular height passive P650 and thought I had something there but not.
