9800 Pro + Vf700-AlCu - Is this a good idea or no?

I currently have the 9800 Pro with plans to upgrade to the X800XL within a few months. I currently have the stock cooler on it and I can take no more from it.

I was looking to get the VF700-alCu for it. I saw a mention somewhere on here about known problems with the cooler itself and am curious if this is a good quiet cooler that will serve me well and survive the upgrade to the x800xl.

Can you vf700 owners let me know what you think of your cooler? thank you

Get it. Trust me, you won't regret it. A cinch to install and excellent performance/noise ratio.
